Push Birth Stories

In Kigali, Rwanda, my team and I leveraged storytelling and artivism to power an advocacy campaign focused on elevating midwives as frontline leaders in global health. By combining narrative performance, portraiture, a wellness activation, and a collaborative mural created with local artists, we transformed personal birth stories into a strategic catalyst for public engagement and policy influence.Every element was intentionally designed to shift perception, strengthen visibility, and connect lived experience to a global call for investment in maternal health and midwifery leadership.
