Media

I participated in Women in Dev’s Tapestry Series, a convening that brings together leaders working across health, climate, racial equity, and feminist organising to map the intersections shaping gender equality today. In this session, I joined Latanya Mapp Frett (Global Fund for Women) and Nino Ugrekhelidze (Feminist Consultant) to discuss the landscape of feminist organising—what’s working, where the gaps are, and how movements can collaborate more effectively across sectors. The conversation explored the projects driving our work, the partnerships and coalitions we are building, and the systemic barriers that continue to limit progress. Throughout the event, a live illustrator captured these insights in a visual tapestry, highlighting both the impact of ongoing efforts and the opportunities for deeper coordination between movements. This work reflects my commitment to strengthening ecosystems, expanding collaboration, and ensuring that feminist organising is aligned, strategic, and responsive to the realities of those most affected

Push Birth Stories

In Kigali, Rwanda, my team and I leveraged storytelling and artivism to power an advocacy campaign focused on elevating midwives as frontline leaders in global health. By combining narrative performance, portraiture, a wellness activation, and a collaborative mural created with local artists, we transformed personal birth stories into a strategic catalyst for public engagement and policy influence.Every element was intentionally designed to shift perception, strengthen visibility, and connect lived experience to a global call for investment in maternal health and midwifery leadership.

Calabash Reading 2025

I take the stage at the legendary Calabash Literary Festival to share an excerpt from her forthcoming memoir Baba. The book reflects on family, inheritance, and the messiness of healing.
